Brevoort Park School Snow Sculpture Workshop

After giving some snow sculpture presentations to a number of classes at a local high school I was asked if I was interested in doing a workshop / presentation to a local elementary school. After some discussion with the principal, the workshop was planned for two days. I would give the same basic presentation to all the classes, with the only difference being based on grade level. The older classes were given more complex ideas for what they could sculpt.

Other than the lack of good sculpting snow (which we fixed by grabbing loose powder snow and mixing it with small amounts of water), the sessions turned out well.

I received a very nice letter of recommendation from the school principal, Mrs. Chantelle Balicki.
