Celebrate Winter – 2012 Harbin China
This was our first trip outside of Canada for a snow sculpture event. The Harbin China Snow and Ice Festival is one of the largest winter festivals in the world.
The sculpture is called CELEBRATE WINTER. It is all about embracing the long winter months and enjoying life.
The block was 13 ft tall by 10 ft wide and 10 ft deep and it was made out of artificial snow. I carved with Carole Dagenais, Kim Strange and Terry Ouellette.
